Looks good so far. I just wonder, how are you going to expand on some of the apologia points? It might be good to look at; some are very obvious like making some points about the author, others like 'signifigance' you'll really have to think about. All the points you have work into it's signifigance. Or are you talking on a world scale, it's signifigance to people everywhere? If so, how do you define that?
Also, look at perhaps some of your wording choices. I would say 'backstabbing' when speaking to an eight grader, not to a teacher. There are better word out there.
BUT I do totally realize this is an outline of rough points and it will all be beautified later. I just thought I'd point to out before you start a rough.
All and all, really good start. With expansion and some narrowing of your ideas I think you'll have the thing written with a fair amount of ease.
by narrowing I mean expand then you can see what you should really focus on. Otherwise, it's a bit of a oxymoron
